Teenage Hair Loss and Homemade Remedy
Most of the time when hearing about some with hair loss you thinks of a man or sometimes a woman but rarely a young teenager. It does occur though; it isn’t typical that a teenager has problems with losing their hair. Hair loss that happens in teenagers can be due to several different reasons. Before coming up with a solution we need to know what the cause of hair loss is.
A type of hair loss that can occur in teenagers is Alopecia. This condition is the same cause for balding in adults and is the most common reason in adults. When a teenager starts losing their hair they may notice an inch or more of bald spots on their head very suddenly. Also as I was saying before it isn’t very common for teens to have this type of balding but, teenagers that have this balding gene can see it occurring as early as the age of fifteen years old. There is a good chance of having their hair growing back normally if they lose less than half of their hair. Even so, there are lots of different instances where they can treat the hair loss with medications.
Another reason that some teens can experience early hair loss is Tinea Capitis. Another word commonly used for this term is scalp ringworm. Scalp ringworm is a fungus that makes patches of hair fall out. Also another effect is for the hair to be broken and the scalp to become affected by it. This condition is contagious so it is very important to make sure to treat it with some kind of anti-fungal shampoos as soon as you are diagnosed with this condition.
Traction Alopecia is another kind of hair loss that happens to some teenagers. It isn’t as common as regular alopecia that I described previously in this article. This kind is caused by using extreme or harsh products on the hair. Also heat treatments like hair curling or drying because of the prolonged exposure to heat on the scalp. Even just wearing a tight pony tail or teasing your hair can cause Traction Alopecia. By teens not using these kinds of treatments very excessively it can help in preventing any more hair loss.
So as I stated earlier there are some causes of hair loss caused by natural genes and some are caused by a teenagers own styling preferences. There are many options out there that can help with hair loss even completely stop it. So it’s up to you to do your research and see what it the most suitable thing for you to try. There are medications, Laser Light Therapy’s, Herbal Supplements, and even some home remedies that you can try and they do actually work. I would recommend a home remedy personally. I will provide one for you that you can try at home.
This treatment works best for Alopecia which is baldness or thinning of the hair. First you’re going to need an Amalaki fruit; you’re going to grind the fruit until it turns into powder. After it is a powder mix it in coconut oil or jasmine oil. With this mixture massage it into your scalp then, put it in water and wash your hair very well. Keep doing this same routine every day for about a month to get results.
